OUR SUPPORTERS
Anchor 1

At Australia21, we believe that big ideas matter — and our role is to harness those ideas into coherent policy directions.

Through a collaborative interdisciplinary approach designed to expand the scope of public discourse, we act as a conduit between ground-breaking, evidence-based research and the formation of effective policy.

We cannot do this alone. We rely on the support of our partners, collaborators, donors, pro bono supporters and volunteers to bring the results of our work to the public arena. While the majority of our work is generated from our own analysis of the big issues facing Australia we do accept commissions to research and recommend on behalf of a client, where the project is in line with Australia21’s purpose.

DONORS

As an independent think-tank, Australia21 relies entirely on the support of individuals, philanthropic organisations and grants.

The number of individual supporters making tax-deductible donations to Australia21 is steadily growing. In 2017-18, more than 280 people donated to Australia21, with the average donation around $320. These donations are critical to ensuring we can continue to undertake research which will help to shape a better future for all Australians.

If you like what we do and would like to help by making a financial contribution here are some options:

  • Make a one off or ongoing donation by clicking on the yellow donate button at the top of this page

  • Make a gift in memory of a loved one

  • Make a bequest in your will

Every donation over $2 is tax deductible.

PRO BONO SUPPORT AND VOLUNTEERS

Pro bono and volunteer contributions are vital to our work. In 2017-18, a total of 2,463 hours of pro bono support were provided by subject matter experts, volunteers and our own Board members.

Pro bono supporters and volunteers make a huge contribution to Australia21’s work and many interesting (and some mundane) options are available – from helping us with financial strategy to assisting with projects to stuffing envelopes – and we are grateful for all assistance.
